Melbourne Boat Hire has recently been awarded the Eco Tourism accreditation. We are grateful for this recognition and this empowers us to do more in terms of our services and our mission to help promote nature conservation.
With the rapid increase for sustainable travel options among global tourists and being part of a country that knows and acknowledges the sacrifices and efforts of eco-friendly companies like ours, EcoTourism Australia recognises Melbourne Boat Hire for our passion in making the sustainable initiative better.
It is not easy being green, they say. As a company that offers a variety of boat hire services, we have always highly encouraged environmental conservation and made sure that our values are in line with the nation’s EcoTourism board’s developed policies that operate with minimal consumption of natural resources. Since we started, we have aimed to integrate the right to a clean environment for green logistics and sustainable tourism with our eco-friendly electric self-drive boats. As we always say and show to our customers, our environmentally friendly fleet is electric powered, offering tourists and locals a quieter cruise experience on the Yarra River, with no nasty fumes or emissions – the way nature intended it to be.
We are aware that most travellers are now concerned about sustainability prior to choosing their trips; therefore, we have made it our responsibility as well to minimise negative impacts on the environment while promoting positive economic benefits for everyone who avails of our boat hire services.
