What a way to celebrate a small wedding in style! Starting off by picking up the groom and his family from Docklands, we proceeded on-board Birrarung to Crown Casino Floating Landing on the Yarra River to collect the bride and her parents from Crown Towers Hotel. Catering and beverages were all pre- prepared on-board and the wedding cake took centre place in Birrarung’s open plan space.
Their chosen celebrant was on hand to officiate to wedding vows as we proceeded to cruise up the Yarra River whilst the ceremony was taking place.
Once the official duties were completed, Birraung provided a perfect backdrop for photos whilst cruising past the Botanical Gardens. We then made a stopover at Melbourne Park Landing for the bride and groom to step ashore and have more photos taken with the perfect Melbourne city backdrop and then proceeded to Federation Square to collect the bride and groom’s family and friends to commence the reception on-board.
The sound system on-board Birrarung was turned up and the bride and groom and guests let their hair down and partied into the night whilst cruising around on Melbourne’s waterways.
